Nothing about the street itself was altered between visits — the same storefronts, the same crosswalk, the same lampposts. What changed was the time of day, the density of foot traffic, and the angle each frame was taken from. Together, the resulting photographs read less like documentation of a single place and more like a study in how much perception depends on framing.
